The Thought Behind the Theme: Infuse, Invoke, Ignite.
Earlier this summer, I sat down with the Pharma Forum team to brainstorm the aspects of what separates planning life sciences meetings from any other industry, and why it is so critical to come together in a meaningful forum of knowledge exchange and collaboration. As planners, suppliers and partners who support the creation and execution of hundreds of thousands of meetings every year, how do we make our meetings impactful? How do we execute them flawlessly? How do we ensure attendees have a positive engagement experience? The brainstorm led us to the terms: infuse, invoke and ignite to embody what Pharma Forum and life sciences meeting management are truly about.
In the world of meeting management, infusing fresh ideas to create more meaningful experiences separates good meeting planners from great ones. We infuse powerful experiences into each and every meeting, but we also infuse risk management plans, compliant processes and collaboration techniques in order to successfully execute every time.
Learning how to invoke the views and needs of our counterparts – whether they are a supplier, HCP, meeting attendee, or otherwise – is important to the experience and education we provide. Taking the time to walk through the shoes of these counterparts improves our understanding of how they function, how to make their job easier and how the partnership can grow. Through improved collaboration and taking the time to participate in valuable networking, we cultivate meaningful partnerships which enrich the value and success of each meeting.
The most important factor of doing a job well is the passion behind the work. Remember why you chose this industry and keep that front and center in everything you do. Find a career goal you are excited about and let that light the fire beneath you to leverage the value gained at Pharma Forum to be more successful at every single meeting. Let the fusion of powerful experiences, meaningful partnerships and accomplishing goals ignite your passion for achieving great meetings.
